ID Technologies is a company that engineers technology and global software for a variety of major industries. ID’s team dedicates themselves to the advancement and creation of digital solutions for their clients in utilities, oil & gas, fibre optics, global transportation and much more.
Their offerings include geospatial systems, integrity management systems, resource planning systems, and other exciting special projects.
The Challenge
Looking to expand its client-base for several of its SaaS products, ID Technologies hired ONYX to manage its outbound sales activities and grow the sales funnel with qualified leads. ID Technologies assigned one individual from their team to take all booked appointments.
ID Technologies needed a business development program that was scalable and reliant. They were opposed to building a team internally due to training costs. Ideally, ID Technologies was looking for 8-10 qualified meetings per month.
Our Strategy
ONYX provided 1 BD Team (1 Business Development Representative + 1 Researcher, per team) to secure meetings with key accounts for ID Technologies. In addition, ID Technologies’ team has collaborated with the Campaign Strategist on custom messaging and outreach strategy, with the support of an Account Manager.
Outreach began in February 2020 and ONYX has deployed 3 campaigns since outreach began in coordination with ID Technologies. These have been geared toward:
- Utilities Companies in Canada
- Infrastructure Construction Companies in Canada
- Utility Locating Companies in Canada
ONYX supports these efforts using multi-channel outbound campaigns, including email, phone, and web. ID Technologies has preferred to stick to email and web mainly.
The Result
Between February 2020 and August 2020, ONYX was able to book 69 meetings with prospective accounts (prospective client companies). Outreach as of August 2020 has encompassed 2143 prospective accounts, with an average of 3.4 contacts per account. This is a 3.22% prospective company account win (booking) rate.
