Who is Tiger Pacific?

Tiger Pacific Industries focuses on the import and export of manufactured goods, as well as distribution channel relationship building. Among other services, Tiger Pacific Industries offers shipping & logistic handling, and consultation services for transaction ease.

Through its strategic partners, Tiger Pacific has also been breaking ground in the PPE industry. Tiger Pacific has secured direct manufacturing of medical grade PPE in China and have conducted business with some of the largest names in the medical field.

The Challenge

Tiger Pacific was able to quickly secure direct manufacturing contacts for medical masks specifically, at the beginning of the pandemic, and needed help opening channels to the medical industry in North America.

Tiger Pacific hired ONYX to facilitate connections (and ultimately book meetings) with contacts in the medical field. Tiger Pacific needed to act quickly in order to gain advantage in a quickly saturating market.

Our Strategy

ONYX provided 1 BD Team (1 Business Development Representative + 1 Researcher, per team) to secure meetings with key accounts for Tiger Pacific. In addition, Tiger Pacific’s team has collaborated with the Campaign Strategist on custom messaging and outreach strategy, with the support of an Account Manager.

Outreach began in January 2020  and ONYX has deployed 4 campaigns since outreach began in coordination with Tiger Pacific. These have been geared toward:

  1. Hospitals and clinics in USA
  2. Hospitals and clinics in Canada
  3. Medical supply distributors in USA
  4. Medical supply distributors in Canada

ONYX supported these efforts using multi-channel outbound campaigns, including email and phone. The majority of outreach was done using email.

The Result

Between January 2020 and April 2020, ONYX was able to book 64 meetings with prospective accounts (prospective client companies). Outreach as of April 2020 has encompassed 591 prospective accounts, with an average of 4 contacts per account. This is a 10.8% prospective company account win (booking) rate.
