Who is CORE?

CORE is a company that offers business management process outsourcing for a variety of industries. Their mission is to change the way in which businesses operate, manage and hire staff. They service a diverse industry from plumbers and truckers, to fiber-optics and natural resources.

The Challenge

Initially, we realized that CORE was something that had to have a specific identity. The main industry that CORE falls under did not quite have something as unique as our client, and so we made it our goal to highlight that the company is breaking through and disrupting the business outsourcing industry.

Our Strategy

ONYX provided 1 BD Team (1 Business Development Representative + 1 Researcher, per team) to secure meetings with key accounts for CORE. In addition, CORE’s team has collaborated with the Campaign Strategist on custom messaging and outreach strategy, with the support of an Account Manager.

Outreach began in February 2020 and ONYX deployed 4 campaigns in coordination with CORE. These have been geared toward:

  1. Small Field Operations Businesses (eg. Plumbing, Electrical) in Canada/USA
  2. Trucking/Moving Companies in Canada/USA
  3. Utilities Companies in Canada
  4. Utility Construction Companies in Canada

ONYX supported these efforts using multi-channel outbound campaigns, including email and phone. CORE preferred to stick to email only.

The Result

During Q1 and Q2 2020, ONYX was been able to book 41 meetings with prospective accounts (prospective client companies). Outreach during Q1 – Q2 2020 encompassed 1522 prospective accounts (5467 prospects), with an average of 3.59 contacts per account. This is a 2.69% prospective company account win (booking) rate.
